14th ANNUAL MUSICAL MARKETPLACE- EVERY THURSDAY EVENING IN
SEPTEMBER FROM 6PM - 8PM
Beginning Thursday, September 2, 2010,
Del Monte Shopping Center to host the popular 14th Annual
Musical Marketplace for four sequential Thursday evenings in
September, from 6pm - 8pm, featuring great music, wine,
food, giveaways, and shopping. Delicious food and wine
will be provided by mall restaurants and wineries. The
2010 Musical Marketplace events will be held around the
Sunken Garden and the Fountain area at Del Monte Shopping
Center, and entertainment includes:
FARMERS MARKET EVERY
SUNDAY FROM 8AM - NOON
Local farmers from Monterey Bay Certified Farmers
Market will hold their 2nd Annual Del Monte Shopping Center
Farmers Market sponsored by Del Monte Shopping Center and
Whole Foods Market. It will be located in front of the
Petco parking lot and open 8am to Noon every Sunday through
October. Farmers and vendors will be selling fresh produce,
farm fresh organic eggs, honey, fresh seafood, potted
plants, seedlings, fresh cut flowers, baked goods, and
specialty teas. The community is invited to come out and
support our local Monterey farmers.

As part of our
ongoing support of our Troops, we will be sending at least
1,500 care packages this year to
Iraq and
Afghanistan.
We are sending hand held computer games,
puzzles, playing cards, comic books, foot powder, sunscreen
(non aerosol),
hand wipes and baby wipes (unscented), beef
jerky is really special, in addition to our usual items.
Cash or checks to
purchase these items are also accepted.
Please drop off donations at the Guest Services Center,
located near Macy's. All donations are tax deductible!
You can also HELP by writing a letter or card of
encouragement & support (unsealed) to be included in our
shipment
to our men and women far from home.
